At Business Interior Solutions, we’re all about creating workspaces that work. Since 1997, we’ve been helping businesses of all shapes and sizes design, build, and fit out offices that not only look great but also support the way people work.

Our ethos is simple - work directly with the end user. Whether we’re helping a fast growing company expand into new offices or supporting a start-up with their very first fit-out, we focus on building long-term relationships. A lot of our clients come back to us time and time again because they trust us to evolve their spaces as their needs change.

We offer workplace consultancy, office design, fit-out, furniture, and relocation services, all handled by our experienced in-house team. But that’s not all. Over the years, we’ve delivered a wide variety of projects, often going beyond our usual scope to meet unique client needs. Whether it’s technical drawing packages, quick pricing tools, or creative acoustic solutions, we’re here to make your workspace better.

    John Keene

    MANAGING DIRECTOR

    Devoted to his passion for design & construction, John formed BIS in 1997 and has moved from strength to strength within the industry. Over those years John has lead a strong team of specialists in house and developed close relationship with exclusive supply chains which has allowed him to deliver high quality and high value projects for a vast array of clients including: Crown Estate, Qualcomm, Virgin Media, Acer and Sir Robert McAlpine to name but a few.

    Alan Hickey

    CONTRACTS MANAGER

    After 10 years of running a maintenance and refurbishment company of his own within residential properties, Alan joined BIS in 1997 and has since been involved in all aspect of commercial refurbishment. Along with managing our dedicated site team, Alan manages contracts and supply chains relating to building and maintenance and has a keen eye in identifying industry best practices.

    Holly Martin-Keene

    INTERIOR ARCHITECT

    Joining the business shortly after graduating University in 2021 with a BA Honours Degree in Interior Architecture and Design, Holly brings a fresh intake of future design trends into the business within each live project from briefing to handover. Focusing on design development of schemes including: site surveying, conceptual mood boards, 2D and 3D CAD, visualisations as well as furnishes and finishes in liaison with the BIS team and clients to ensure their concept can be brought to fruition.

    Lou Stubbington

    HR & OFFICE MANAGER

    Lou is committed to ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and creating a positive work environment.  With a strong background in HR Lou focuses on supporting employee well-being, fostering a collaborative culture, and handling HR processes efficiently.  Known for her excellent communication skills, she effectively engages with employees, clients and suppliers, ensuring strong relationships and seamless operations across the board.

    Jacob Woodcock

    CAD DESIGNER

    Jacob has been with BIS since 2019 as the lead CAD Engineer, producing a variety of designs and drawings of facilities from small to large scale projects for many clients such as McKays Securities and Sir Robert McAlpine. He enjoys the different levels of challenge and problem solving aspects that comes with the job and having the freedom to be creative and imaginative. Working through different plans to see what works best both from a technical and aesthetic point of view.

Established Qualcomm in the UK with expansion and refurbishment across Poole, Hammersmith and Farnborough

2010

Moved into new office in Lynton House, proceeding to help reoccupy the entire building on behalf of the owners

2014

Horizontal timeline with five circular markers

Started working with Mckays Securities across their entire portfolio helping let unoccupied space

2015

Complete listed building refurbishment for Russell-Cooke in Bedford Row

2019

BIS Moved GoDaddy into 26,800sqft Office in Beeston, Nottingham as their new European Headquarters

2022

First major hospitality project for Dorchester Group in Coworth Park, Ascot for their new Fine Dining facility

2024

Design & Build project for Databricks over in Amsterdam across 3 floors of Eurocentre
